Warsaw Home & Contract 2025: Meeting Poland’s Contract Buyers

Warsaw Home & Contract 2025: Meeting Poland’s Contract Buyers

Warsaw Home & Contract brings in a different crowd from a volume furniture fair — hotel, restaurant and office specifiers who buy by project. Here is what they asked for.

Most furniture fairs are about retail. Warsaw Home & Contract is about projects — hotels, restaurants, offices and public spaces where someone has to sign off on a specification and live with it. That changes the conversation at the booth, and it changed what we put on it.

Why contract buyers ask different questions

A retail importer asks what sells. A contract buyer asks what survives. Across four days in Warsaw the same four topics came up in almost every meeting.

  • Load and stability. Not a test report number on its own, but what happens when the same chair is used 300 times a day for five years.
  • Repeat availability. A 600-room hotel refurbishment needs the same chair in three years. Buyers want to know the model will still exist.
  • Assembly and replacement parts. Knock-down packing saves freight, but only if the parts arrive complete and labelled.
  • Cleaning and maintenance. Fabric that cannot be spot-cleaned is a problem for a restaurant floor.

What we showed for contract projects

  • Metal seating. The Tolix-style MSA012 series, including the Industrial Metal Chair with Wood Seat (MSA012-2-W). Powder-coated steel takes hard daily use and is easy to wipe down.
  • Bar tables. The Square Metal Bar Table (MSA092) and Tolix Style Metal Table (MSA093) in matte powder-coated iron — the standard answer for café and bar fit-outs.
  • Ergonomic mesh office chairs. MSA-O-34 and MSA-O-15-A for workspace projects, with gas lift, adjustable height and a chrome five-star base.
  • Lounge seating. The Mid-Century Modern Single Sofa Chair with ottoman (MSA030) for lobbies and waiting areas.

How a contract order usually runs

  1. You send the brief: quantity, target price, finish, delivery window and the standard the project has to meet.
  2. We come back with the nearest existing model or, if nothing fits, a quotation for a modified version.
  3. Samples are approved before production — not after.
  4. Production runs with in-line inspection and a 100% function test, then packing and loading supervision.
  5. If anything is wrong when the container arrives, we give you a solution within 48 hours of the complaint and take responsibility once it is investigated.

Contract buyers usually need the full range rather than one model: see office chairs, tables and sofa & lounge seating, or send the project brief directly to sales01@msa-furniture.com.
