MEBLE POLSKA 2025 in Poznań: Our European Buyers’ Week
Poland has become one of our busiest markets in Europe, and MEBLE POLSKA in Poznań is where most of it starts. Notes from the booth, the models that worked, and how we prepare for a four-day show.
MEBLE POLSKA in Poznań is the meeting point for furniture buyers across Central and Eastern Europe, and for our team it is the single most useful show on the European calendar. Four days, back-to-back appointments, and a booth that is deliberately built around upholstery.
What sold the booth
European buyers arrive with a very clear brief: a specific seat height, a specific colour range, and a price they have already promised to a retail chain. They are not browsing. So we bring the models that answer those briefs directly.
- Velvet dining chairs on metal legs — the category that carries most of our European volume. The Hand-woven Velvet Dining Chair (MSA190-2) and the Star Tufted Velvet Accent Armchair (MSA100-D) were both handled constantly across the four days.
- Barstools. Fixed-height velvet stools on tapered legs (MSA125, MSA129) and the gas-lift swivel models in PU leather.
- Tables. Knock-down MDF and glass tables that ship flat and assemble at destination.
The three things European buyers care about most
- Colour consistency between orders. A retail chain that sells one mustard velvet chair expects the next container to match it. We keep reference swatches on file for each client and match against them before production.
- Delivery windows, not delivery dates. Promotional calendars are planned months ahead. Our export team confirms the production window when the order is placed, not when the cargo is ready.
- Documentation. Correct labelling, correct carton markings and complete paperwork matter as much as the product.
The same week, a second Polish show
In the same season our team also exhibited at Warsaw Home & Contract, which is a very different audience — more interior designers and contract specifiers, fewer volume importers. Running both shows in one season gives our Polish and German clients two chances to see new models without travelling to China.
