Twenty Years in Shengfang: The Furniture Base Behind Every MSA Order
Our factory sits in Shengfang Town, Langfang — one of the largest furniture production bases in northern China. Here is why the location shapes what we can build, how fast, and at what cost.
Hebei Meisian Furniture Co., Ltd — MSA Furniture is our export brand — is based in Shijiapu Village, Shengfang Town, Langfang City, Hebei Province. We have been making chairs and tables here for over twenty years, and the location is not incidental to how we work. It is the reason we can be flexible.
Why a furniture base matters to a buyer
Shengfang is one of the best-known furniture production clusters in northern China. Within a short drive of our workshop you can find metal processing, injection moulding, board material, fabric, foam and hardware suppliers. For an importer, that has three practical consequences.
- Cost. Raw materials and components are close, so the whole supply chain is competitive rather than one factory being cheap in isolation.
- Speed. A new model can be developed and sampled quickly, because the moulds, the fabric and the metalwork are all local.
- Flexibility. Small batches across many models are realistic. That is what makes a mixed container — four or five models, 100 pcs each — workable for a first order.
What we actually produce
Our range today covers six families, all manufactured under the same quality system:
- Dining chairs — polypropylene, upholstered velvet, powder-coated metal and PE rattan hanging chairs.
- Office chairs — PU leather executive, breathable mesh ergonomic, cantilever and velvet swivel.
- Barstools — gas-lift swivel in PU leather and fixed-height velvet models.
- Tables — MDF, tempered glass and powder-coated metal, all knock-down.
- Sofa and lounge seating — single lounge chairs and two-seat benches.
- Complementary items — dressing tables with a flip mirror and storage stool, and storage cabinets, so a container can be filled rather than part-filled.
From domestic supplier to export factory
We began by serving the domestic market and reached overseas buyers through trading companies. After 2015 we built our own foreign trade department, and today we export directly to Europe, North America, South America and the CIS. Running our own export team means the person quoting your order is inside the factory, not a middle layer — which is usually the difference between a fast answer and a slow one.
