From Domestic Sales to Our Own Export Department
For years overseas buyers reached us through trading companies. After 2015 we built our own foreign trade team — here is what changed for the buyer on the other side of the order.
Most Chinese furniture factories start the same way. You produce for the domestic market, a trading company finds you an overseas buyer, and the buyer never quite knows who is actually making the chair. That was our history too — until we built our own foreign trade department.
What a trading company adds, and what it costs you
A trading company is not the enemy. It finds buyers, handles documentation and absorbs some risk. But there are three costs that importers feel without always seeing them.
- Time. Every question goes factory → trader → buyer and every answer comes back the same way. A simple colour or lead-time question can take two days.
- Specification drift. Details get lost in translation between the buyer’s brief and the factory’s production sheet.
- Accountability. When something goes wrong, responsibility is split between two companies and neither owns the problem.
What changed when we built our own team
- Quotations come from inside the factory. The person pricing your order can walk to the production line and check. Lead times and material availability are first-hand, not estimated.
- Samples move faster. Our design and sampling team sits in the same building as the export department, so a custom colour or a modified leg can be sampled without a chain of intermediaries.
- One point of responsibility. From sample approval to production, inspection, packing and loading, the same team owns the order. If something is wrong when the container arrives, we give you a solution within 48 hours of your complaint and take responsibility once the cause is investigated.
- OEM and ODM are practical. With our own designers and our own export team in one place, we can take a buyer’s drawing or a reference photo through to production instead of declining the project.
Where our buyers are
Today we export directly to Europe, North America, South America and the CIS. Our markets are geographically spread, which is deliberate: it keeps production running across the year rather than concentrating risk in one season or one region.
What this means if you are buying from us
You are dealing with the manufacturer. Samples come from the factory that will produce your order, quotations are built on our own material costs, and factory visits are a matter of arranging a date. MOQ is 100 pcs per model, and we build mixed containers for first orders.
